A Wichita Falls man is being held in the Wichita County Jail on a $75,000 bond after Burkburnett police arrested him on a charge of online solicitation of a minor, according to court records reviewed by Texoma's Homepage.

Jordan Kyle Hamilton was booked Wednesday, April 22, 2026. Detectives say their investigation began in November 2025, when the Burkburnett Police Department was made aware of an adult man allegedly soliciting a 14-year-old boy for sex acts by phone.

What the affidavit alleges

According to the affidavit, detectives obtained the victim's phone and found messages dating back to July 8, 2025, from a phone number they say was later traced to Hamilton. Police say the messages began with the sender identifying himself as "Jordan."

On Aug. 4, 2025, detectives say a person using the same phone number contacted the victim again, this time identifying themselves as "Deborah." The affidavit says the messages then turned to the victim's age and became sexual in nature, and that the sender at one point sent a photo of an older woman and offered to pay the teen for personal information.

Detectives say they interviewed family members of both the victim and Hamilton. Court documents say one person told investigators Hamilton "had a long history of posing as other people, including a woman, and offering sex acts for money," and another said he believed Hamilton did this to scam people out of money.

Police say Hamilton denied sending sexual messages while posing as an older woman.

All individuals charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
