City of Wichita Falls offices are gradually returning to the Memorial Auditorium building that houses City Hall, as renovation work on the 99-year-old structure continues.

Public Information Officer Chris Horgen said this week that public works, engineering, utility collections, information technology, property management, finance, and development services have moved back into the building. Staff had relocated to other space during the renovation work.

The project, funded in part by federal COVID relief money according to the original report, has been under way for months.
