About the program
The Rural Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is the planning step that allows local projects to be incorporated into the broader Statewide Transportation Improvement Program. Projects in the rural TIP are part of the early pipeline for road improvements across the area.
TxDOT has also published a recording of its full Wichita Falls district meeting outlining the upcoming projects, which runs roughly ten minutes.
