State Rep. James Frank, who represents Texas House District 69, has filed a class-action lawsuit against Blue Cross Blue Shield in Dallas County, according to Harvey Kronberg's Quorum Report.
The lawsuit alleges that Blue Cross misrepresented the actual cost of prescription drugs by failing to disclose rebates, which the suit contends drove up costs for plan members.
Frank said on the platform X that any money recovered through the lawsuit would be used for the benefit of employees and that he would not retain any portion for personal use.
Blue Cross Blue Shield has not publicly responded to the allegations as of publication.
