The Wichita Falls-Wichita County Public Health District released its inspection scores for restaurants and food establishments examined April 16-23. Inspectors monitor the locations for compliance with state food safety requirements, the district said.

According to the district, frequent inspections help prevent the spread of foodborne illness from contamination, improper handling, storage, or sanitation. The agency cautions that any single inspection may not represent overall, long-term conditions at an establishment.
