The City of Wichita Falls' effort to recover more than $3.28 million in loans from Carter Aviation may go to trial in October, according to court documents reported by the Times Record News.

Carter Aviation has carried what TRN describes as a 17-year unpaid incentive debt of more than $3 million owed to the city.

The Wichita Falls Economic Development Corp. is scheduled to discuss the city's legal action against Carter Aviation at a meeting at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in rooms 3 and 4 of the Multi-Purpose Events Center, 1000 Fifth Street.

The meeting is open to the public, but the Carter Aviation discussion is set to be held in executive session, closed to the public.
